Responsible for much of the innovation and development of modern anaesthesia including endotracheal intubation, the Magill circuit and numerous pieces of equipment. Helped found the Association of Anaesthetists and professional exams in anaesthesia.

 Sorry but there are still a few gremlins working their way out of the wookwork. One thing that has occurred is that part of the rota archive has become inaccessible. This will be restored gradually but all new rotas will be available immediately.
