magill.jpgIvan Whiteside Magill (1888-1986), Irish-born anaesthetist. Responsible for much of the innovation and development of modern anaesthesia including endotracheal intubation, the Magill circuit and numerous pieces of equipment. Helped found the Association of Anaesthetists and professional exams in anaesthesia.

As of today, 9th November 2007, the new CAT website is online. We have moved to incorporate a new domain, northtrentcat.org.uk in addition to northtrentcat.org. A lot of work has gone into the new site already but we've got lots of plans to keep things improving. We'd like to hear from you if you have any suggestions.
